How I prepared for Facebook’s PM interviews
This is the story of how I prepared for the Product Manager interviews at Facebook that landed me the job afterwards. If you are prepping for the same role or maybe other roles within Facebook or a similar organisations, I hope this will help!
First, I would like to offer a little bit of background information about me. I have a technical background though I only did a 6-month internship as a developer. I soon realised that I wanted to do something different while still working at tech companies. After a brief period of working as a data analyst, I discovered the Product Manager role and fell in love with it. It had everything I have ever wanted in a job; the right amount of design, business and technical acumen was needed to be successful and there was a lot of interactions with people within the company and with users. I started my PM journey working at an e-commerce company in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I’m from. After 3 years, I moved to London where I started working for a mobility startup. After 2 years working there, I decided it was time to move on and I was interested in working at a bigger company which was 100% product-focused.
